Black and White Composition: Walk Around In Circles

This composition uses only black and white. The diagonally placed circles will direct the reader to the center of the page. The space at the top right is for a headline, which will begin in the last circle before the space. The large, black rectangle is positioned horizontally to mirror the columns of text that will eventually be placed within the design.

It's a good idea to mention where you will be placing text. It helped me see the bigger picture better.

The use of the rectangle really elongates the page.

The design draws the eye where it should be. Nice.

I like the amount of open space on the page, giving it a very open feeling. The amount of circles add to that feeling, having the only boxed in shape on one side of the page. This seems like it'd be a good composition to add simple text or something and it would still work, there isn't too much going on, which I like. The different weight of the objects according to their shape was executed well throughout.

What I like about this is the movement through out the composition. Even though it may look simple at first glance, you kinda follow the rectangle up to the circles then back down to the opposite and back again. Almost giving a sense of a triangle that was meant to make it into the image somehow.
