This is the cover for Wanderer, which is a publication containing student-written articles. The articles reflect the students' time in Lima, Peru. I chose this photograph for the cover because it left space for the text. In addition the spacing above the flag is perfect for the headline. However, I used simple colors for the text to avoid overpowering the photograph. Adding shading to the text ensured its visibility. Overall, the cover balances being simple and staying visual quite well.
